Austin and Felicia initially met playing against each other during an intramural soccer game at Utah State. Austin knew from this encounter that they shared hobbies and she would be a super fun girl to know better. He also knew that he wanted to ask her out as soon as he could. Luckily, they were in the same YSA church ward and that is how they recognized each other. The next Sunday, Felicia was sitting on a couch alone. Austin knew he needed to capitalize on what was his chance. He playfully kicked her foot and used the classic line….“Hey Felicia, I didn’t know you played soccer.” A conversation about soccer began and plans for Austin to get her number were set in motion.
Austin and Felicia were skiing at Beaver Mountain. It was a beautiful sunny day and warm for January. After a couple runs, austin and his brother decided it would be a good idea for felicia and her sister Alexis to follow them up to the very top of the mountain to look out over the mountains and take some pictures. When they were at the top, Austins brother was acting like he was taking a panoramic picture, and when he came to where they were standing, Austin got on one knee. Felicia was caught by complete surprise. It was perfect besides the fact that the ring fell out into the snow when he opened the box. It didn’t sink far though and he dusted it off to put it on my finger. It was all adorable.
