Kyhv Peak Couples Session

Kyhv Peak Couples Session

Lets chat about getting your couples photos taken at Kyhv Peak in Utah. If you’re looking for a mix of breathtaking views, romantic vibes, and an adventure to remember, this is the spot for you.

I have worked with Emma and Chris for a few years and they wanted a fun fall shoot! This location is absolutely stunning in the fall and I recommend having your photos taken in the morning for the best lighting but evening is good to.

The panoramic views of Utah Valley, the dramatic cliffs, and the way the light dances over the mountains at sunrise or sunset—it’s absolutely dreamy. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or just because you want amazing photos together, Kyhv Peak is the perfect backdrop.

Why Kyhv Peak is Perfect for Couples Photos

  1. The Views: The lookout points offer sweeping vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see. The lush greenery in spring and summer, the vibrant reds and golds of fall, or the snow-kissed peaks in winter—every season is stunning in its own way.
  2. Romantic Atmosphere: There’s something about being up in the mountains, away from the noise of everyday life, that creates an intimate and romantic setting. It’s just you, your partner, and the beauty of nature.
  3. Adventure Factor: If you two love exploring together, the drive up to Kyhv Peak is part of the fun! The winding mountain roads and fresh air set the tone for an adventurous yet relaxed session.
  4. Golden Hour Magic: The way the sun sets here is unreal. The golden light filters through the trees and reflects off the mountains, creating the softest, most flattering glow for photos. Trust me, it’s photographer heaven. In the morning its perfectly lit which is my favorite!

Tips for a Perfect Session

  1. Timing is Everything: Aim for sunrise or sunset. Not only is the lighting better, but you’ll also avoid any crowds that might show up during the day.
  2. Dress for the Weather: It can get chilly at higher elevations, even in the summer. Layers are your friend, and flowing fabrics look incredible in the mountain breeze.
  3. Comfortable Shoes: You might need to walk a bit to get to the best spots, so bring shoes you can move around in. You can always swap them for your cute heels or dress shoes once you’re on location.
  4. Bring a Blanket: Not only is it cozy for snuggling up between shots, but it also makes for a great prop in your photos. Plus, you’ll be glad to have it if the wind picks up.
  5. Trust Your Photographer: (That’s me, hopefully!) I know all the best angles and hidden spots to make sure your photos turn out amazing. Let me handle the logistics so you can focus on each other.
