Location, Location, Location…..

I always have people asking me where my favorite locations are to shoot at. So I am going to tell you my top ten favorite places to shoot and why!! In no particular order, here we go!!

1. Antelope Island

I love this location for many reasons! It’s different than my normal mountain locations, there is a beautiful beach area, you can walk down by the water and the rocks look so cool!

2. Tony Grove

Unfortunately this location is only open for a few months out of the year because in the winter, it gets to buried to get up there. But, it’s stunning!! There are so many different looks to this location, it looks like you’ve traveled to several different places but you are only at one!

3. Mantua Mountains

This location I have only been to once but you can see why I love it!! It’s stunning!! So many rolling hills and its so quiet and peaceful there. 

 

4. Temple Fork

I have only shot here in the winter because it has a similar look to Tony grove that my clients love! The one down side is that you have to have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive because you will get stuck! I know, because my clients got stuck here during one of my sessions and took a while to get them out! But it’s a gorgeous location so its worth it!

5. Donut Falls

One of the busiest places I shoot at. Every time I have been has been in the winter and you have to edit so many sledders out of your photos! But with the trees and mountains, its worth it to take your photos there.

6. Tibble Fork

This spot has quickly become a favorite of mine!! You have this open field area with trees and mountains in the background. Then across the street is a little lake!

7. The Captiol

The capitol is so elegant and different! I remember the first time I heard someone say they wanted their photos taken there, and at first. I thought it was weird! But now that I have been there (and shot there) I totally understand! It’s gorgeous!

8. Huber Grove

This is a favorite place of mine to shoot in the fall! When the leaves start to change color, its so vibrant and looks beautiful in photos!

9. Box elder campground

In June when the poppies come out, this location comes alive and its so beautiful!! Sometimes it’s like a zoo with how many photographers are there, but I mean, look at it!! Wouldn’t you want your photos taken there to?

10. Brigham Blossoms

Spring is such a beautiful time of year! The blossoms come out! Cherry blossoms are my personal favorite!!
