La Cappella At Canterbury | Emily + Issac
La Cappella At Canterbury
Emily and Issac were married at La Cappella At Canterbury. This was my first time shooting there. I am so excited to go back. They have one of the best brides rooms that I have ever seen!
How did you meet?
“Isaac and I met when we were in the 9th grade. He didn’t really know me and I didn’t really know him that well either. We both had a mutual friend we knew. As our mutual friend introduced us, I could tell he wanted to date me. I was dating someone else at the time. Somehow with his good looks, funny, and kind personality, we finally started dating. He has ever since treated me like a princess. I knew I was madly in love with him and wanted to be with him for the rest of my life. We had classes together and even did Medical Assisting together. We will always be known as (in my opinion) the cutest high school sweethearts!”

How did he propose? I wanna hear all the details!!
We have always taken walks around the Daybreak lake with each other, our friends, and our family. With Daybreak being so gorgeous with its scenery and fun trails, he wanted to make it not noticeable or out of the norm of what we normally do. He found a Tuscany style pavilion and had his family decorate it in advance and as we causally walked up to it, it was beautiful and so romantic. He then surprised me and asked me the one question every girl wants to hear, “will you marry me?” and of course I said yes!
The history of La Cappella
Originally built in 1914, The Chapel “La Cappella,” has served as a meeting place for many of Bountiful’s early residents. For over one hundred years it has continued to be a place where families can gather, memories are made, dreams come true, and magic happens.
Located in the heart of Bountiful, this venue has all of the historic charms of the past one hundred years, while at the same time offering exceptionally updated and timeless rooms to host any style event.
