City Center Provo Temple

Conner and Brenna got married at City Center Provo Temple in utah. The day of their wedding, it was raining off and on all day. Brenna was so nervous that it was going to rain during their formals at the City Center Provo Temple. Luckily, it only sprinkled and we were able to get some beautiful photos. During the session, it was overcast. We had the perfect lighting and it’s one of my favorite times we have shot their.

How they met

“We met while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nashville, TN. Conner was born and raised in Logan, UT and Brenna was born and raised in Concord, CA, so it wasn’t likely for us to meet otherwise. We ended up coming home from our missions on the same day and Conner messaged Brenna on the second day home. We went on our first date three weeks later when Brenna came to Utah for a visit and we’ve been together since.”

How did he propose?

“Our proposal is very special to us. We were planning to go on a trip with Conner’s family to Yellowstone. Two weeks before the trip, Conner got a prompting to switch our trip to go to California, where Brenna grew up. The day we got engaged we spent time with our families. Redwoods park and then at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, where we took pictures and had a bonfire.

While there, Conner took one of his brothers off to play catch. After a while they asked Brenna to play with them. The three of us threw the baseball around and then Conner’s brother left to go get “something he forgot”. Conner is an LA Dodgers fan and Brenna is a SF Giants fan, rival teams. Conner and Brenna continued to play catch and then Conner slyly switched the ball and over threw it.

He asking Brenna to go get it. Brenna walked over, followed by Conner and when she picked the ball up. It had a Giants logo on it and a piece of tape that said “open me”. When she removed the tape the ball was cut open and there was a bracelet that said “Marry Me” in it. When she looked up, Conner was on his knee with the ring and he said wonderful things as he proposed. Both families were a little ways in the distance watching the whole thing and there to celebrate. Not only will we never forget the day because of the proposal, but it also happened to be the last time Brenna got to see her brother, because he unexpectedly passed away later that week.”
